Request a QuoteThe Alkaline Filter is designed as a complement to the RainSoft Ultrefiner Elite Reverse Osmosis system. It adds minerals such as calcium and magnesium back into highly filtered drinking water while increasing its pH.
This additional filtration stage is designed for homeowners who enjoy the purity of reverse-osmosis water but prefer water with an enhanced mineral profile and taste.
After the reverse-osmosis system has filtered the water, the Alkaline Filter provides an additional treatment stage.
Water passes through specialized mineral media that introduces minerals such as calcium and magnesium back into the water. This process increases the pH while giving the finished drinking water a different mineral balance.
The primary benefit is taste. Adding select minerals back into reverse-osmosis water can produce a smoother, more refreshing drinking experience.
