Ultrefiner Elite Reverse Osmosis

The Ultrefiner Elite is RainSoft’s premium point-of-use drinking water system. Installed beneath the kitchen sink, it combines multiple stages of filtration with reverse osmosis to address a broad range of drinking-water concerns.

The system has been tested and certified for a variety of contaminant-reduction claims, including Total PFAS, lead, microplastics, chlorine, chloramine and other substances.

Filtered water is delivered through a dedicated drinking-water faucet and may also be connected to a refrigerator or ice maker.

The Ultrefiner Elite uses a multistage filtration process.

First, incoming water passes through a pre-filter that helps reduce sediment along with chlorine-related tastes and odors.

The water then passes through a reverse-osmosis membrane designed to reduce a wide range of dissolved contaminants.

Highly filtered water is stored in a dedicated tank until needed. Before reaching the drinking-water faucet, the water passes through a final post-filter for additional polishing.

Having filtered drinking water available directly from the tap provides a convenient alternative to purchasing, transporting and storing bottled water.

Filtered water can also improve more than just the water you drink. Using it for coffee, tea, ice, soups and cooking can help prevent unwanted tastes and odors in tap water from affecting the flavor of foods and beverages.

Reducing dependence on bottled water can also reduce the amount of single-use plastic used by the household.
